Colour and Grayscale Contrast Enhancement

The following illustrates a colour contrast enhancement process and compares this with the grayscale equivalent. The images are arranged in a similar fashion to the page illustrating three modifications of histogram equalization. The colour results have been added, and the Gaussian smoothing results removed.

The browser window should be at least ~800 pixels wide to view four images in a row. You may prefer the images in the vertical format.
